The one that came out on 2009 racked up $2,923,706,026 which is insane! Second to this movie is Avengers: Endgame with $2,799,439,100 and then Avatar: The Way of Water with $2,320,250,281. What is crazy is Titanic is number four with $2,264,743,305 and that came out in 1997. So if you consider inflation costs, it would be number one by a landslide. Like if it came out in more recent years.

Maybe it is just me, but I still do not see all the hype with these Avatar movies. I watched the first one and remember liking it but it wasn't something that stuck we me. I think people just bought into the hype of it.

This movie is from 2012 and I honestly forgot about it. I didn't watch until recently and it is so dumb it is funny. Eddie Murphy plays the lead role in the movie and even though he talks less than in other movies, the silliness had me rolling! Does anyone remember this movie? Did you see it? I think the story was creative. It was kind of like a spin on Liar Liar and many other comedies that takes a selfish man and teaches him a lesson.

I wonder have any of you all heard of this case? It's kinda wild, but the most disturbing thing is that one of the victims was a Black girl. Apparently this girl changed her mind the day of the trip and didn't want to go and her mother talked her into giving it a try. This is Oklahoma in the 70's and this Black mother thought it wise to send her Black child to be the only Black kid on a scouting trip in the middle of nowhere. Even had this not happened the first night, there is no telling what those other white girls would put her through. Apparently, the girl's mother said she could call home and she would get picked up, but the camp director wouldn't let her call home. It could be conjecture but knowing how they treat our kids, would it surprise anyone? I'm still bugging on this. Oklahoma is an openly racist place even to this day. I just can't imagine what this poor girl's mother was thinking...also of note: the deceased girl's father may or may not have been a Tulsa police officer...which would possibly answer the level of delusion her parents were under. Messed up tho...
