Both decades had some incredible artists. The R&B from the 80s is classic. However, who could forget that new jack swing era!
HipHop had some of the awesome artists in the 80s. However it could be argued that the 90s was the greatest era for hip hop.

Maybe it's just me. But my wife has this thing that she seems to be right about a lot of stuff in hind sight!
She makes decisions that are contrary to mine and usually a few months or maybe even years later I looks back and think "Damn, she was right!"

Lots of things from career decisions, diet choices, to just everyday things like who I follow on YouTube. She saw through the facade that is Roland Martin far before I did. Once I finally did catch on that he was a sellout she was like, "See what did I tell ya."

This seasoning I was using seems to not be the best choice as far as keeping control of my blood pressure. I took away everything else and it seems to be the last culprit. She had told me to not use it months ago and I didn't listen! Stubborn I guess!

She just seems to know little things far in advance!

And she of course always hits me with "I told you so!"

I am just starting to think, I married her for a reason. Maybe I should listen to her opinions more than I do.

I can't get a dog yet, just have two cats. I am renting but soon as I am able to buy a house, I want to buy a big ol' dog to act as a means of protection for my house when I am not home as well as to protect the cats. I just don't know enough about dog breeds and what ones are good for this. It has to be one that will do well with young children cause I do plan on having kids. Has to be good with cats too.

I watched a few videos from this YouTuber Chantelle Simone.

After a while she began to come across as a clout chaser. She seems to bash and put down black women for no reason or purpose other than chasing clout.

Black women aren't perfect. But no race of women are. My wife is Hispanic and she has faults. I've dated white, Hawaiian, and black women and they all come with certain faults and issues.

Black men, white men and any other race of men too will have their faults.

But in the process of pointing those things out and making content if your purpose is to better the community or give criticism to make improvement that's great.

However if most of the video you are just bashing and then saying please hit the like button, please subscribe and then you go back to trash talking again without much in the way of suggestions for improvement it comes across as just chasing a high view count!

I'm not down with bashing black women just for clout or views at all and I think Chantelle should be ashamed!

I'm currently living in Charlotte and I have been relentless in preaching that our FBA children should be involved in STEM and financial literacy courses. Well shit, I hope they're paying for the rest of his life, because to be stuck in prison for 36 years for something you didn't do, has got to bring a man down. And the fact that there are probably tons more men just like him rotting away in jail because of false allegations or having a bad defense.

He was only 17 when he went in too, now he's 53 years old. They took this kids life away, and also most of his young adult life. During that time he could have graduated high school, then college, then setting down into a job, start a family, etc. He's at an age where most would already be a grandfather, or even a great grandfather. They took that away from him.

I hope the state takes care of the guy, and by take care of him, pay him for each year he was illegally incarcerated for.

For those who don't know Joji, he's a fairly talented artist who started off YouTube making videos under a character called Filthy Frank. I'm sure some of you have seen his videos in the past, they were cringey, offensive and outright dumb, but some of them I thought were pretty funny. Now days he can't even produce that content on YouTube or anywhere, as he would likely get flagged right away. I'm still surprised his content is still readily available on YouTube considering how things are taken down so much over there now.

He also had another character he did called Pink Guy, and he actually made an okay comedy album as this character. If you like comedy you may be into it, he does some rapping, and really annoying shit as well.

After that and quitting YouTube, he decided to start a rap/pop career under the name of Joji, but instead of comedy, he chose to go the serious route. And honestly I really enjoy the stuff he puts out today. I think he's had chart toppers with his most recent album. The dude has some talent that probably gets overlooked because of his past content.

Politics aren't my strong suit, but in another life I would have liked to think I would be capable enough to run for office. Probably not president, but I would for sure try to be something at a lower level.

I'll keep this short, but I believe that immigration has caused nothing but heartache for the African-American community; Immigrants, Black, White, Asian, WHATEVER; has been coming to our majority African-American cities, gentrifying our areas, messing up our politics, actively going against us in politics, disrespecting us even though we've gave them the benefit of being able to live in America freely without being prosecuted for being of a different race. They're reeping our benefits while we're still fighting to benefit from what our ancestors went through. I think all African-Americans should be anti-immigrant; especially anti-Black and mexican immigrants because they are the worst offenders.

Dating sites are often something I don't really focus my attention on anymore. I have tried using a few dating sites in the past to meet women, but for the most part, they don't really work all too well. A lot of the time, people on most dating sites tend to be more about sex than going into a relationship. I mean there are apps out there where you can find love, but even those apps tend to result in one night stand type scenarios. And I'm by no means against that, but I would prefer to find someone I could date instead of someone I see once and we're done.

I know dating sites are usually the worst place to find love these days, as going out and meeting people tends to work best for some. For me, idk, I'm a mixed bag when it comes meeting women. Some days a dating site is what I go on, but rarely do I find anyone to bring out on a date. And going to bars or clubs doesn't yield much of anything either.

My best scenario, is to meet a woman on the go, and we hit it off from our first interaction. Because going to a bar you kinda expect to meet women, but they aren't usually the ones that want to settle down.

Anyway, that went all over the place, let's discuss dating sites and whether you believe you could find love on there or not.
