I don't have tattoos yet, but have been wanting to change that for a while now. I have the money to get a few. But, I've been putting it off, as I want it to be perfect. I've been trying to find the best tattoo artists and ones that do some killer art, but can't find any I like in the area. I guess I'm very particular with what I want, and it has to look perfect. I also don't like to get the same tattoo as anyone else out there, so it has to be unique. Maybe my own creation or maybe I should have a family member draw up something cool.

I figured this was coming. It's probably going to end up being a boring fight like the first one they did. Tyron Woodley held back for sure. He should have gone in there and thrown a lot more punches. It was pretty much a way for these two to keep making cash.

This fight is on short notice for Woodley though, as he stepping in to fight after Tommy Fury backed out due to an injury. This fight will be happening December 18th. If Tyron wins, he also gets an extra $500,000. Oh and a win guarantees a trilogy, which means these two will fight again. I bet you what happens, is much of the same, but Tyron will end up winning via decision. $500,000 probably isn't much for Paul and with a third fight, he could probably gain even more.

But yeah, this all seems like a way to make cash and nothing more. These two will hold back punches and won't go full force. Just wait and see.

I hope Tyron proves me wrong, and KOs Jake Paul early. That'd be great!

Uber and lyft drivers seem to be making good money as of late. I have considered trying it out, but I don't know if I want to bother with unknown people sitting in my car. And who knows what you're going to get. I've seen many videos about shitty customers. Mostly white drunk people who are always obnoxious and loud. I don't think I could handle working as an uber/lyft driver. My first bad customer would be the end of me probably. Lets just say, I'd probably get fired fast haha.

But what about you? I feel like it's becoming more open, due to Uber eats and them now offering delivery options. How's the pay for something like this? I always thought it didn't pay that well, but if it does, I may be interested.

I am not sure if I asked this here or not or if someone else had, my apologies if a thread already exists for this.

I am curious if anyone here has any plans though or goals they are looking for reach for the new year. I am kind of in limbo right now. I have some options, some moves I can make but I have to wait and see what my future holds. I guess time will tell and I will know which direction to take when my answers are met. So for me, I don't have anything set in stone just yet.

I have a friend at work who does this every year. She signs up to work double shifts Christmas week just to say she can't go to the family dinner and avoid the holiday with her family. We never get too in deep about things but I did ask her the other day why she doesn't like Christmas. She said she loves Christmas but her family fighting year after year made her feel like it wasn't about family, togetherness, peace, or joy but rather competition and hate... So she grew to separate the holiday from those aspects and just wants to be alone. I feel bad for her but I understand it.

Do you avoid family during the holiday season?

Even though in general no one thinks of or watches a movie because of the music, I remember back in the day, how it felt like the success of a movie included the success of its soundtrack also. Now, the soundtrack seems like an afterthought anymore.

The Soul Food soundtrack from the late 90s and the Brown Sugar soundtrack from the early 2000s were always two soundtracks that, to me, brought their respective films to life through the speakers.

I'm checking this out for fuckery purposes. This might be the most bizzarre thing I've seen all year, and that's saying quite a bit.

There are plenty of discussions to be drawn from here, like the Drake/Ye dynamic, or is this actually necessary, or why the hell am I watching this tonight, but I want to hear your takes.

I thought the wording here was a pretty sick joke.

It's such misdirection. It should read more like: "Should justice exist in America despite that meaning FBA's receive Reparations?"

Then "SOCIAL justice?" That inherently includes economic justice, but they like to keep us thinking about economics and "identity politics" separately as if they are not inextricably intertwined.

I suppose I did not expect too much from the conversation (it was hosted by USA Today) but it was actually better than I thought (don't read too much into that, it was still pretty horrible in my opinion).


Do you see Reparations to FBA as a justice for us issue or a justices for all issue?

I'm happy if you're happy with your body, but I'm not going to sugarcoat it and say someone is healthy when they are not. Body positivity for those suffering from obesity for example, is not good, or safe. Love your body at any weight, but also love yourself by losing that weight as well, so you can live a much longer and happier life. I've been overweight a lot in my life and it's not fun, but I also don't fret about it. It's when I am too heavy is when I should be concerned.

Eat healthy, workout often and things will be good. But I don't agree with body positivity if it instead promotes it as being okay to be obese. It's a life threatening thing, that should be sorted as soon as possible.

Where do you guys usually get your news? I mostly get news from whatever I follow on facebook and twitter. But I rarely check those out these days anymore. What channels and news sites would you guys recommend checking out? Mainstream news channels don't show all the news out there, only what they think would be best to talk about.

I used to watch the basic cable news networks, like cnn and fox. I didn't really affiliate with either of them like some people seem to do. Like it seems that cnn is for liberals and democrats and fox news is republicans. But I don't really care about that, I just want to hear about the damn news without their opinions and thoughts. It's a lot worse on social media, because everyone has to comment. And it never goes well. But, I often have a good laugh at what people are saying in the comments.
