At what age did you begin to understand racism? I was in the 7th Grade around the time Root's came out, i was never taught about it from my parents even though my Dad being from L.A. and a lot of my family being from Oakland they knew what the deal was but never really told my brothers and sisters what we would be facing as we got older.
it became clear after watching roots at such a young age, and from that day on i knew what i would be dealing with. I just wish i was taught from my parent's, The Baby Boomer generation seriously failed Generation X.

I don't think this can be topped. Even the last bit of comedy relief to send us off... perfect.

I prefer rap and hip-hop from the '90s myself, heck even the r&b had more soul to it. I am curious to see who you all were into back in the '90s. I was quite young at the start but I got into music nearing the end of the decade and ended up going back a handful of years to find my taste in music. I still find myself going back to this music since it resonated with me the most.

What do you think the differences between dating and marriage are? I know for some, they feel like it's just a legal thing and there isn't really a difference. Maybe the worst most over emotionable fan base in the country. They are always mad cause they lose and they always lose cause they are mad.

When I was younger, I had a close friend move away. I think if this had happened now, we likely would have stayed in touch thanks to social media, video chats, etc. but I was never able to get back in touch with her. She ended up marrying a guy in the military and goes state to state when he needs to relocate. I wish I had made a better effort to stay in touch but it is what it is. I only know about her marrying someone in the military because a family friend mentioned running into her a few years back. We parted ways over 10 years ago.

So they are doing another Paranormal Activity movie. I enjoyed the first 3 they did. I actually watched them out of order (3-2-1) which ended up working great for the story. This one is coming out in 2022.

Does anyone here play ROMs via emulators? I am building up a collection of games I had from when I was a kid. My brother basically hoarded all the consoles and games as we got older and left me with nothing. I didn't care at the time but now I want to play some of the classics and I don't have the consoles for it. Not about to spend money rebuilding the collection either. So yeah, I am working on a ROM library.
