Rep. Massie Casts Lone No Vote Against Bill Equating Anti-Zionism With Antisemitism​

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) was the lone member of the House to vote against a resolution equating criticism of the modern state of Israel with antisemitism.
The resolution passed in a vote of 412-1-1, as Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) voted “present.” The bill states that the House “reaffirms the State of Israel has the right to exist” and “recognizes that denying Israel’s right to exist is a form of antisemitism.”
Massie explained his opposition in a post on X. “I agree with the title ‘Reaffirming the State of Israel’s Right to Exist’ and much of the language, but I’m voting No on the resolution because it equates anti-Zionism with antisemitism. Antisemitism is deplorable, but expanding it to include criticism of Israel is not helpful,” he wrote.
Tlaib said she didn’t vote in favor of the resolution because it “ignores the existence of the Palestinian people” and “brings us no closer to peaceful coexistence.” The resolution states that Jewish people are “native to the Land of Israel” without mentioning that the modern state was founded mainly by recently emigrated Jewish Europeans who drove over 700,000 native Palestinian Arabs out of the land in 1948.
Massie has voted against other Israel-related legislation, including a bill to give Israel $14.3 billion more in military aid to support its war in Gaza. For his position, Massie has been targeted by the Israel lobby.
“Why does Israel historically get more foreign aid than any other country? Because they have the most aggressive lobbyists working for them. I voted NOT to send another $14.3 billion overseas, so now they’re running ads on radio, TV, and facebook. I won’t vote to give them your $,” Massie wrote on X on November 16.

IMO a very nice wine. It's a bit light for my taste but very drinkable. Probably the bottle to grab for an office event with mix of wine drinkers and non-wine drinker. Definitely a bottle a man should buy for his lady. With 13.5% alcohol, it won't have her sloppy.

Squid Games turns into Squad Games basically many of the players left after the Redlight Green Light episode are LBGTQ ,Feminazis and suspected White Supremacists and straight up C👀ns still it's a fun watch but as you binge it ,you'll start to see a microcosm of today's society where the straight Black Man is the Man everyone wants to eliminate. 3🍿's for the suspense if you enjoyed the show you'll enjoy the game but it becomes a bit predictable after a while.

I was taken back by this. The man had been gone for 10 years and it seemed like he would NEVER go back. I can bet you he got a massive pay deal and likely a contract for a Wrestlemania event where he is the main ticket. He wanted that for years and was ignored. I have to wonder what was said and done to get him back. I am sure the fallout with AEW helped. I think Cody Rhodes leaving them too was a major blow to the brand. They still have some massive names though but WWE is still on its own level I think.

I want to know what ya'll think about this kind of tech. It sort of freaks me out a bit. I am paranoid about certain tech and I think if we push to heavy in this direction, it could result in our downfall. Maybe I watched too many movies about the topic but I can't see this stuff being used to benefits us.

Apparently, Sports Illustrated had been using AI and fake people to write articles for some time and no one knew about it, until now and this is crazy! When they were approached about it, they straight up deleted all the content and the fake profiles. Some people that worked there knew about it I guess and said there were a lot of these fake writers too. You can read the full story in the link below.


I think AI is a great tool that should be just that, a tool. But when we start using it to replace people and creative work, it becomes a massive problem. We are already seeing AI recycle its own content with imagine generation models where they are pulling from other AI made content and it is getting worse. This is going to end up being a massive problem.

In terms of both TV and movies. I am curious.

I don't seem to watch as much as anyone else. It seems like people are watching an average of 3.5 hours of TV a day and I average like 45 min a day. I just get bored sitting still too long not doing anything.

How much time you spend watching stuff throughout the week?

Lisa Cabrera shines light on this problem that is still in effect. Last year the Ann Arbor news did a story how none white families are still on many properties to this day.
