Now days, cable TV is pretty much dying out. With everyone watching streamers on Twitch, or people on YouTube, plus all of the many streaming platforms, it feels like cable tv is an afterthought. Do you guys even feel the need for cable tv anymore? I haven't had cable tv in probably 2 years now. I have my Netflix, hulu, youtube, twitch and a few other streaming platforms that I use, but other than that, I haven't watched a cable program much in the last 2 years.
With that being said, how much longer does cable tv have? I know some of them have gone to streaming, as charter spectrum has their own thing going, and I know there Sling TV and YouTube has tv now along with Hulu and some other services.
What I am saying is this. I think everything will be streamed in the coming years. Cable TV will end up dying out, and content will be exclusive to their own streaming platforms.
I like the options when it comes to streaming. Because I can subscribe to a couple services and be good, and still have money left over. Cable is just too damn expensive compared to getting maybe Hulu and Netflix. If I really want to as well, I can sub for a month to other services and then cancel right after. Cable, you're locked into a year or more agreement, and are often charged for wanting to cancel early.
But yeah, I think cable is headed out and streaming is going to exclusively take over.
