I would love to see it, but not with the version of Venom from the Sony movies.
I think the animated Miles Morales movie was great, and I'd like to see Peter and Miles team against Venom in Miles's next movie.
Funny you say that, because the new Spider-Man game will have both Peter Parker and Miles Morales facing off against Venom. So I'm super psyched for that.
Judging by the end credits of the last Venom movie, it will happen. I hope they don't make it too silly, they have been relying on jokes a bit too much.
For sure. I'm worried too about it being too silly, but I believe Marvel/Disney will have some say how the Spider-Man movies go. But we'll see. I just hope the Venom we get is the venom we grew up with. He needs to go bad soon, he can't be the Venom from the movies forever.
I heard the last movie was really horrible. My son wants to go see Spiderman Far From Home and I'm dreading it. I know they are different productions altogether but if Spiderman is cheesy and corny I want no parts of it. I'ma be sitting in the theater likeL:
Yeah the Venom movies don't really fit so well with the MCU, and pairing this Venom with the new Spider-Man is going to be interesting. A lot of people say that the Venom movies feel like Marvel movies from the early 2000s, and honestly I agree. I liked the first Venom for what it is, a campy popcorn flick.
I just want to see Venom face off against Spider-Man. No silly gimmicks or dumb shit. Give us the angry and mean Venon.
As for the Spider-Man films. I have found them to be kinda underwhelming, but I still enjoyed them for what they are. They feel like a part of the MCU, and at least have the quality the MCU. But with the Venom movies, they're mostly forgettable. Even Tom Hardy feels like he's going through the motions, and you can sometimes catch his british accent coming out.
Down the line, I'm sure they'll try to reboot Venom again, unless he does good in the upcoming Spider-Man movies.
