I know our people are avid gamers. Rightfully so as our ancestor invented the home console. In my time gaming I have come across several games that serve as a simulaltion for what it's like to wield power by building a community.

On my list is
1. Tropico 5/6
The fifth and 6 iteration of this game is amazing. You are the dictator of an island nation. The game is a construction, management, politics, economics simulator.
I was able to utilize Powernomics principles in game in order to beat several maps. You have to keep your population happy as well as create industries for money. The game is very satirical and whimsical.
2. Civilizations 6
In this game you can choose between several black historical nation leaders for the purpose of building a Civilization.
This game is a good simulation for the nation vs nation competition that occurs on forst a local then global scale. You compete in the subjects of Science,War , Religion And Culture.
This is a great military simulation in that you can create war or peace but you create a variety of war units and tactics. You also learn how to utilize your resources towards a concise goal.

3. City Skylines
This game is a modern city builder. The previously mentioned games are tougher but this one is still a blast. All you do is zone your city based on commercial, residential, industrial needs. You develop a balance between creating money and making sure your populations needs are met.

I post this because I believe our enemy uses games like these to educate their children in a fun way on how to dominate and maintain power as a worker bee and a leader. I suggest we introduce these games to our children..
Looking forward to seeing what games you believe can benefit our collective mindset and progress.

Interesting thread. I'm not a gamer, but I'll have to check out some these titles. Thanks for the post Champ

I’m going to go simple and say Checkers with the understanding of the game being cause, effect, and thinking a few moves ahead. Once the logic behind that is understood, progressing to Chess. We need to enhance our muscle memory when it comes to planning and these games provide that with instant consequence.

I think my first Tropico was 3 and I would give overthrown within 30 minutes, it was difficult. I would add SimClty to this list too.
I rock with the sim city series as well brother. Great addition. As far as getting overthrown I feel you. My wife used to tell me you have to be super nice to your population as far as taking care of their needs before strictly focusing on economics. Also there are weird algorithms in there such as you need military but too much military next to houses and the people will feel oppressed. You need military so they don't rebel but on secluded parts of the island. Another weird one on a map I played on Tropico 5 was when you broke your apporoval was high, when I had money my approval was low 😆 😆. I played Sandbox a lot on 5. On 6 they fixed kinks like that but it was hard to make money. Powernomics principles made me have like 5 rum factories, 4 boat factories, 5 chocolate factories 😆 but those principles of mass production had me fulfilling large trade contracts quickly. Just like with a bunch of mexican tire shops in one town. Us as B1 can multiply a business idea infinitely.

I love your point on instant consequences as well as moves ahead. I got into chess a few years ago. Very mentally engrossing game. The computer still kicks my ass!!! I have two sets and I've tried to get my wife into it more as well. Any suggestions for completing check mate?
I can eliminate my opponents pieces but I always have a hard time trapping the king. I always end up with the opposing king just running from me 😆 Tips are welcomed. I also plan to teach my daughter how to play chess as well.

Also I can say at 98% approval you can win any election and you can pretty much do no wrong at that point. On the flip side if you can make a crap ton of money quickly you can pay for all the fun they need to be happy.

Talking with my wife made me think of another oldie but goodie.
Monopoly. Dr Claus Anderson himself referenced this game as representative of real world economic competition.
Group economics can also be practiced if participants play in teams.
Love playing Monopoly with my family back in the day.

As for Video games that can help with the B1 Fam?

Well, there are Simulation games like Sim City that teach you about resource management.

Also real-time strategy games like Age of Empires, HomeWorld, and Red Faction.

Thanks for your response. I have to check out those titles. Its important for us to learn how games or simulations can help us understand the levers of power so we can create a system of justice for ourselves.

I'm big on wealth in the form of health for our people. So I would say games like Ring Fit (Nintendo Switch) and Wii Sports are a great way to keep us war ready, while having fun as a family. The benefits sneak up on you too. Before you know it that walk around the block is way easier.

That game haunts me, I went from Simcity 2000 to Tropico, I could never get the right balance. I want another Simcity to drop but not a mobile version, a real full blown one.

I'm going to have to get a sim city. A few people recommended it. As far as a good balance, I had to apply powernomics principles to get my money up big. So i had like 5 rums 3 boats . Tmodel for real. Also on 6 I learned the upgradea significantly cut costs so you can turn a profit easier. Do they have a sim city for ps4??

Back in the day I used to play a game called "Command and Conquer Generals" war simulation type game. You had to build your power stations economic supply, barracks, soldiers and weapons, tanks ect. You could choose from the Americans, Chinese, and Arabs.
It was fun to play but made you understand the basics of preparing for war and learning how to execute the war with as little casualties as possible.
I don't think they make it anymore, but I think on Orign you can get it.

That sounds super legit. War games is a real thing. I can see how a simulation like this can help us prepare for a war. Wish they still made this . I would definitely snag it.

Dude Command and Conquer was so fun, I had that joint on MS DOS. The resource management part like you said made you think. You can spend a boat load of money on your base but if you don‘t have enough to build a fighting force you will be overran. It was great in showing you the consequence in poor planning. Now im going to look for an RTS on iPad.
