It’s even in video games. They have kids gambling with virtual currency just prepping them for the real thing. Once you win big one time it’s hard to stop. Also what I think is evil is you will put $20 in the slot machine and it’ll say “you won $3” instead of “you lost $17”. It makes you think you are up when really you’re losing your pants.
I watched a video years ago, may have been like 2012 or something. It went into detail about how apps and mobile gaming changed to be more addictive through gambling simulation. I never got on board with mobile gaming but I see how it affects people, especially kids. They are setting these children up to have a careless future of struggle and debt!
Same here. My Nana has a horrid gambling problem. She lost all her retirement funds and has to work as a 80 years old woman. Put it like this she had her own trucking business. All of the money she set aside was gone in a few years.

Just for the record, I do go to the casino. I have a fixed amount of money and never use the ATM. I leave when my money is gone.
Those guys care less about how you progress. They just believe that they are making money by opening up more gambling sites. I stopped gambling a while ago because I was not making any profit out of it.

Very few people do. I used to watch gambling streamers on Twitch. The way the casinos work in Europe are WAY different than in the US. Like you can actually win good money with small bets. It is still just as much a risk but they aren't robbing people as much and there is no tax.

Places like Vegas are so terrible if you like gambling. I saw video poker machines at the damn gas station you cannot escape it. You can even get your check cashed at the casino and they'll do it for free. Shit is predatory.
Yeah it is. I think the way they do gambling in the states, it ends up benefitting the state more than the players. It is basically robbery, but they make it fun and addictive.
