all of Quavo moves since Takeoff's death looks sus to me. Can't quite put a finger on it yet. I'm getting Diddy/Biggie vibes. Seems like Quavo is benefitting from his death even though he was highkey the cause of it.

Playing dice with a bunch of niggas at 1AM is sus too so sus is par for the course. You wouldn’t catch me playing dice with a bunch if niggas for anything, even for $5.

Quavo should’ve practiced classism in understanding you ain’t in the hood no more, you have wealth now so don’t put yourself in a situation where you could lose it all. He found out the hard way unfortunately.

Now while on that same note of classism, I also feel a way about the Prince family. The dad was a hustler back in the day and built an empire, I respect that, JFK’s dad did the same but see his sons went on to become Attorney General and President. Prince Jr and Jas are 2 privileged doofuses trying to masquerade as gangsters. They allegedly were rigging the dice game to fleece money from Quavo, who was there at their birthday party showing them love. Before that another rapper got killed hanging with them. These dudes are completely off code and their benighted actions are going to get their family business RICO’d, they need to understand that the system is always trying to attack black wealth, and they’ve been trying to kill their Sr.

But ultimately, the foolish moves of Jas & Jr fall on the dad. When it comes to generational wealth, Sr should’ve known to play that game at the highest level. His sons should have either been squares running the family business without the funny stuff or squares with expertise in a field trying to grow and expand their wealth. I was watching Kevin O’Leary talk about how he decided to invest in Tesla because his son worked their as an engineer and I thought to myself “that’s how you play the game”; Dad works hard, builds generational wealth, son gains an expertise in a field, starts his own firm based off that expertise with his dads money. This is how it’s done. I expect Rap-A-Lot to fall and J Prince Jr & Jas Prince are modern day Maurizio & Paulo Gucci.

BlackWarGod I agree with this 100% but is it really Classism that needed to be exercised or common sense? I shot dice one time in 7th grade and almost got in a fight because I wanted to stop playing when I was up. After that I learned that shooting dice wasn't for me because the person losing always seems to want to resort to violence.

Common Sense would have told them that they were around a bunch of gang bangers and that they would be on the menu. Common sense would have caused them to listen to the other son when he told them not to be around them wild dudes. But Quavo's ego and inability to lose may have rocketed him to stardom but it also led to the tragic murder of his family member.

In the end though like you said, putting kids on in the family business may not be the best move if you're in the streets. You build your rep off of your work and then the kids inherit through birth. They end up not understanding the rules of the game and start making silly moves. In the end, people need to stay out them damn dice games.

That's his blood relative and he already benefited by making music over all these years. The Grammy's ain't Shit. Performing there is not a come up. Takeoff wasn't even the intended target of the shoot out.
We cant expect Quavo to mope in a room forever. Of course he is going to celebrate the life of his relative/ business partner.
