California American Freedmen Affairs Agency (CAFAA)
Based on the recommendations of the state Reparations Task Force, SB-490 would create the California American Freedmen Affairs Agency (CAFAA). The CAFAA bill is the NEXT step toward Reparations in California! When passed and signed into law in 2024, the agency will help administer Reparations.
