The sheeple strike once again.

Part of me wants to hate but the techie in me is geeked about the possibilities. The “all around you” desktop could be a game changer for work.

I have no interest in this sort of this but I am not shocked by them selling as many as they did. Apple has been selling products over value for the last 2 decades and people still eat it up. Don't get me wrong, they do make good products but you can find stuff that is just as good, if not better in other brands for less when it comes to their tech outside of phones.

It plays to wait. See how it is received.

I've watched many videos on this, and at the end of each one, I've come to the same conclusion. It's just an AR version of the ipad. it's overpriced. battery won't last long enough to watch Avengers:Endgame, and you'll be experiencing fatigue after wearing it for 30min.
I just don't see the appeal. But I doubt this model will go mainstream. I don't see the common person dropping $3500 on this. Times are hard for a lot of people right now.

I will say it, I don't like Apple products and never did outside of the iPods. But I stand by what I said. You can compare power and capability in their laptops and computers and you can easily get more for less. Apple only "outshines" other brands when it comes to film and video work. If you do that sort of thing, by all means go with Apple but everything else? Nah.

but even in multimedia work, they're losing their edge. Other chip manufacturers are adapting to SoC for better efficiency. and macs still suck for gaming.

The ipod was cool. but I always thought the Zune was better.

I only ever had iPods and one other MP3 player that was tied to Napster. I think it was a Samsung model. I can't remember though. Have not had it for years. Got it when I was like 12 or something for Christmas.

You are right though but the brand recognition will keep their products selling.

Most of those purchase were bots that tapped into the network. These are dev kits at the end of the day.
