The man at the electric company doesn't respect you, but he wants your money every month. You want his electricity, so you pay to start a service agreement with him.
Politicians don't respect the jews, the poor whites, the Asians, or the Hispanics, but politicians are beholden to them because those are the people who pad their coffers. It's about time that we stop worrying about who likes us, and become one of the groups who know how to buy off their elected officials.
