Absolutely. Next time an old Black person comes up to me and my son preaching Jesus I’ma let em know…why you teaching him this? Why you not talking about investing in Stock, mutual funds, term life insurance, Roth IRAs, etc. Why not teach this young man something that can help him.
We’ve been talking about Jesus for 400 years and we are in a downward spiral. We need to change course. You can have your spiritual beliefs but it shouldn’t trump knowing how to navigate your terrain, build, and advocate for self. A lot of people use the Bible as a cloak for their cowardice and that’s what I have an issue with. People preaching Jesus and they die and their kids don’t even have enough to bury them. That’s an issue…you live as a liability, die as one, but you sure was prayed up. That’s not acceptable to me.
Spiritually speaking, if you were really living the righteous life, would you really be in a "downward spiral"? I have no problem learning about micro/macro economics and implementing sound investment strategies. Let me be clear, I am not a saint but I do see the need for a moral structure in the lives of our community. People that are preaching Jesus understand the meaning of this life. Rich or poor, They have the secret.
Yeah but morality and spiritually are not exclusively owned by Christianity. People were moral and righteous before Jesus stepped foot on the earth.
I agree, morality is different than spirituality. Even Satanists are in league with an evil spirit. Morality is different. Righteousness is a by-product of morality.
Now, who holds the keys to morality?
Lastly, Jesus Testified that He Witnessed the first rebellion in Heaven. So, the incarnation wasn't the beginning of Jesus. It was Jesus in The Burning Bush in Exodus. That was 2000 years before His incarnation.
Morality is largely a social construct, there is what I would think is universal morality but that's more of a basic "golden rule" theory than anything,. At the end of the day people should believe in whateverr is going to help them be a better person.

I'd beg to differ. There are few types of moralistic treatments. Satanists' slogan is, "Do what thou wilt". If killing someone makes you happy, Satanists say you should do it.
But morality is captured by Dr. Frank Turek better than I can make the point. Hint: morality isn't a human construct.
