Help with camera decision --
Yeah our phones actually take great pictures. And that is definitely the issue with taking up photography. It is very equipment heavy lol
If you are just starting out in photography I would highly recommend mirrorless. Everything is moving that way so why learn on a camera that may go outdated in the future. I don't think DSLR will ever totally go away, however, newer technology will weigh heavy in the mirrorless realm.
I have decided on my new camera. The Canon EOS R5. It is mirrorless and I'm fine with that. I chose this camera because of its great reviews with video. I primarily shoot stills but occasionally I add a video to my posts. Anyone else here into photography?
