Do you watch any? I don't mean Adult XXX cartoons but rather things like Family Guy, South Park, etc.

I used to watch a lot of these when I was younger. I also watched anime. I in general had a preference for animation for whatever reason so I enjoyed many shows that were made more for older teens and adults but happened to be cartoons.

I have since stopped watching most of them. They either stopped being made or they became something that wasn't enjoyable. I still watch a handful of anime series though.

I remember when the Simpsons came out and people were complaining that the themes in the show were not geared towards children. Mike Judge had to explain that it was NOT for children.
People had a hard time thinking that cartoons were made for adults.

We're still talking about them 30 something years later. As far as me watching adult cartoons, I used to watch American Dad the most. Everything else was just, meh...

That was a good one. I used to tell people it was better than Family Guy and I would get hated on for it. I liked Futurama and King of the Hill back in the day. Both had qualities to them that made you laugh while teaching some sort of lesson. My older brother watched South Park and things of that nature. I never got into that. That show tried too hard.

I've been watching anime for awhile. That and some rpg video gaming. I just cut back on how much, as my adult responsibilities and situations stack. At some point, I probably won't be able to make time for it, but such is life. Some other animes I've watched are "Sword of the Stranger," "Lelouche," and "Bleach."

I'm a total idiot.
Matt Groening created the Simpsons
Mike Judge created Beavis

I like Big Mouth on Netflix. Bojack Horseman was good. Archer was good though I didn't watch all of it.
I forgot about Bojack, that was one of the best ones out there. It was such a deep show but on the surface, you really would not expect it. Archer was another good one though it had 2 seasons that were just meh.

Yeah Bojack turned into a show about toxic relationships and addiction and depression and a ton of other shit. And yeah Archer was kinda my throwaway show lol I only watched it as an after thought more than anything.

I have not been watching a lot of adult shows lately especially after finding out that adult swim / Cartoon Network support Planned Parenthood indirectly. The last time I watched South Park regularly was when I still had cable around the time after the 2016 election. While South Park is mostly right about many issues, the privileged white male creators (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) of South Park got it wrong when it comes to Black issues and hate crime laws and they sympathize with white racists and their way of thinking much of time because, well, birds of a feather flock together. South Park and Family Guy are some of many shows that help to maintain the broken status quo if you look at them carefully. The former show says, "Whatever, everybody is wrong and all sides are stupid anyway" while the latter show says, "One side is stupid, but not mine."

I haven't watched South Park in a while. Not even sure what they are doing. The only adult cartoon I watch at the moment is Archer.

Damn. I did not know that. So many snakes out there. I won't be watching none of their programing either. I don't think I do now but I will be on the lookout.

I wasn't aware that Adult swim supported Planned Parenthood. I'll be more on the look out.

I posted this in the "Why does everything have to be gay?" thread some months ago, but I'll post this here as a reminder:

"Steven's Universe, a cartoon show that ran from 2013-2020 on Cartoon Network that was for kids and adults and predated The Loud House cartoon on Nickelodeon, had a lot of LGBTQIA characters as well. You got Cartoon Network out here openly supporting the non-binary tripe, use of gender pronouns, and LGBTQIA agenda too.

And Cartoon Network also openly supports the National Black Justice Coalition, the same sham organization that recently tried to wrongfully target Dave Chappelle for "The Closer" Netflix special. On top of that, Planned Parenthood also supports the National Black Justice Coalition. And when I came across the openly anti-Black racist, genocidal letter from the Planned Parenthood founder, I was completely mortified. I stopped watching Cartoon Network / Adult Swim / Toonami ever since.

Even Tariq talks about it in complete detail:

Go to 19:58 and stop at 50:11."

Damn this is worse than I thought. You really can't let your kids enjoy anything without supporting some kind of nutjob cult group or scam!

I just know my kids won't be raised on this crap. They can watch older cartoons even if I have to get a VCR and tapes! I don't care! Otherwise, they are watching animal documentaries. I don't want my kids being brainwashed and pushed into a cult.
