Nas and Hit Boy make good music together, but I'm praying that Nas makes an album with DJ Premier, one with Pete Rock, and one with Large Professor.

Nas is the master class on how to have career longevity, bouncing back from setbacks, maintaining his mental, handling his financials and shaking off drama - that man never misses a moment for growth and capitalization while balancing his talent. Sheeesh. Phenomenal

He is the quintessential “grown man” MC. Jay Z think he is but as our Jay said, Nas be vulnerable in his music. He lets you see his growth with songs like Daughters and Roses we got to see the mature Nas. We got to hear about his oarenting struggles and his issues with marriage, stuff we all go through. He’s the GOAT.

you think he was hypersensitive to folks saying his first album was a classic on;y because he had the best producers, so he was just rapping over trash beats to prove his pen game? Someone as talented as Nas should only have a handful of bad songs let alone mediocre albums.

Never liked or cared for Jay Z- he’s a self serving opportunist exploiter of the community. Dame Dash warned us about him.

I think Nas thinks his lyrics alone and expert lyrical ability, thought processes can carry a song and compensate for the mediocre beats. But that’s not always the case - I think he became set in his comfort zone or set in his ways, but based on criticism/experience, he has learned to expand his production mindset.

Never could sit through a whole album by him, but the handful of songs that I like by him, I REALLY liked. If I had to make a Jay-Z playlist, there might be ten songs max on there, and not the ones you would guess either.

I used to be fooled by him until that Nets and NFL fiasco. He's a self-serving individual. He basically provided cover for the NFL and their racist treatment of Kaepernick but then tried to spin it as a positive with a Black Super Bowl halftime.

Exactly how I feel about it too. The second I heard Speechless my head started bobbing instinctively. Albums like Magic are refreshing because it reminds me why I like Rap so much. There's so much trash out there now that I rarely find myself listening to it. I really like how in Wu for the Children he is having a conversation in Verse 1, it feels like he could have taken it a little bit farther though. Can't wait til KD3 drops.

Such an amazing album and I love how Hit Boy was able to capture that boom bap sound that’s so timeless. It has a great balance too, it’s boom bap but doesn’t sound old and nostalgic. It sounds like the perfect blend of old and new and create the perfect stage for Nas to display his craft.
