Should A Father Eat Before A Child? Grown Man Has Women Upset For Saying This! "It's About Respect"

If you watch the video its in reaction to what appears to be a single mom saying she feeds her children first. #women what are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or do you feed your man first? Now I’m not talking about when things are tight, Im talking about when there is enough food for everyone.

We ALL ate together. Gave thanks first, then enjoyed the meal, dessert & each other.

I think the man of the house should be served first, especially if he's the one providing. It's just a show of respect and gratitude.
when I cooked I serve my wife first (when my kids were here, all grown now)

The man was definitely served 1st, but we all ate together.

The man 100%. Women that think like her are dysfunctional and don’t understand the importance of a man. She most likely tries to compete with the man and that’s just another way for her to show that she doesn’t have to respect him.

As a married woman with a man the provides I would definitely say that the man should be served first and then the rest of the family but that we will all eat together. It's funny, my husband and I got into this debate a while ago and he said that a real man wouldn't want and shouldn't want to take food out of a childs mouth unless he provided it especially if there's not enough for the children of course my husband's from the old school. I agree with that too.

That’s why I mentioned that in my initial post. If there isn’t enough food the man eats last that’s why we get the first plate.

I'm not a lady, but from my personal perspective and the way I was raised, kids always get their food first. My mother was always the type of person to cook a nice meal, she would always fix her children a plate of food before anyone else. Of course, if you would go back for seconds, you will fix this yourself, but she would always fix her kids the first plate. I really believe this depends on how you were raised. Some people may have been raised to where the father gets the first plate, whereas others may have been raised where the kids get the first plate.

I was raised where the Father was served first, then us & then Mom, but we ALL ate together. 💯

Yes, absolutely. We would all eat together at the kitchen table as well. I guess the main difference was that children were served first in the house. Due to everyone being grown, some of which still live in the same house with parents, eating at the table with each other is rare. It's sad, but I guess that's how life goes.

Whoever is the primary provider should be served first. In most cases when it comes to couples, this is the man. I was raised with my father being brought his meal first and we didn't start eating until he was sitting at the table.
