When I started to work on the design for the PlayStation VR2 headset, one of the areas I wanted to focus on first was the idea of creating a vent in the headset to let air out, similar to the vents on the PS5 console that allows airflow. Our engineers came up with this idea as a good way to allow ventilation and avoid having the lens fog up while players are immersed in their VR games. I worked on many design concepts to achieve this, and in the final design, you can see there is a little space in between the top and front surface of the scope that contains the integrated ventilation. I am really proud of how this turned out and the positive feedback I have gotten so far. I hope our PlayStation fans will also agree, and I can’t wait for them to try it out.”

The first one was dope but the games were lacking. I wonder with this go round will we see some real stories being told here.

    • Ironman was cool for about 5 minutes but played on rails
    • Blood and Truth was the same
    • AstroBoy was so dope I loved that game
    • There was that one space game where you crash land and have to fight aliens, that was ok
    • there was also the one shooting game for the gun attachment, hipoint or whatever it was pretty cool too]\

i want Sony to drop something Deus Ex quality and show us what VR can really be. VR 1 was a great outing.

Maybe I am alone with this one but I can't get into this. I like to be sitting in front of a screen and holding a controller with two hands. I don't wanna be hooked up to something and caught off guard by some non-sense. I get why people like this style of gaming but it is not for me. It is impressive to see how good it has gotten in just a few years though.

It’s so fun and immersive… my biggest issue is that a lot of the games are like mini games. I haven’t played anything that was gripping or had me hooked like let’s say a last of us. A bunch of proof of concept games are on it that cost more than proof of concept prices.

I guess we will see where it goes. I noticed this myself. Nothing long-lasting has been done yet. I mean outside of something like Minecraft but there is no real core or purpose. That is more or less a sandbox game.

This looks super interesting. I have been a PlayStation fan for as long as I can remember, however, I have never tried their VR equipment. Unfortunately, I am not able to purchase this at this specific time, but I do look forward to purchasing it in the near future. What types of games are available for PlayStation's VR?
