BFHP serves the same purpose as it always has.
It's the political version of "the Black friend" for when some they want to 'splain something to us, try to sell us something, or get a pass from us for some bullshit. They trot out "the Black friend".
The other purpose is to support the "bootstraps" aka "there is no racism" argument.
"If there was racism, do you think we could have a Black Supreme Court Justice or a Black president?. They worked hard and didn't make excuses (wink, wink), so you can too!"
The only new wrinkle in the trick bag is picking swirlers, LGBT, and non-FBA ppl for these positions. Preferably female.
While none of these are dealbreakers per se, it does increase the likelihood that they lack a strong identifying empathy for the plight of Black Americans. Since we're talking about governing Black Americans, the lack of representation is a factor.

I've been saying this. It's all part of the plan. And what better way to do it than hiding behind Blackface (nowadays, actual Black faces) and blaming all of the crimes, perversion, corruption, decline, destruction, and problems on not just everyday Black people, but also the Black faces in high places whom you hired to help carry out all of your fucked plans (no matter if they succeed or fail)? Even if it's whites and non-Blacks primarily involved in devising and carrying out the destructive plans too?
