Good for him . He's always been a great actor. I personally don't think it's fair the way people critique his marriage though.

Antoine Fuqua is directing. Should be good. This was one of his many projects that got tabled a year because of the Oscars.
I think he is a great actor but his wife p*ssy whipped his behind long ago. I do not like her. She uses and abuses him and the poor dude don't value himself enough to know better. I didn't think his career would end over a slap to Chris.
He's been a great man on the screen and deserves the paycheck he will be getting on this movie. Sadly, his marital life hasn't been smooth, but I honestly hope he sees that as a motivation to soar higher in Hollywood.
Will we be okay, if black people as a collective don't let white folks cancel him. If Chris Rock is good with it all, then I'm good with it being squashed. Its not 'their' business.
I felt like they were trying to have him killed because of his slap saga with Chris Rock. He's paid enough for it and he's getting his good reward now. I'm really happy for him because he's one of my favorite actors. I still enjoy watching Bad Boys series.
Black folks weren't tripping. Had he slapped a white boy he'd be done for sure and possibly criminal charges. The cops asked Chris Rock if he wanted to file charges. There are accounts of white actors hitting and fighting co stars and the thought of criminal charges were NEVER an issue. Hitting far, far more than what Will Smith did, closed fists, wounds, the whole 9.
The comments from white stars was on some extra shit as well.
This is white folks seeing an opportuntiy to shit on a black man over the top. Pure and simple. The key is us. Once we say 'okay, enough already' it will end. And by that I specifically mean blacks with a platform that reaches people: The Breakfast Club, big stars in interviews, etc.
Also if Hollywood refuses to use him, Tyler Perry and other blacks should use him in something.

This'll be an interesting comeback. I'm curious to see the rollout of the movie and what themes the film will be exploring.
Will plays a caddy for Matt Damon, I believe that's who the white dude is, BORING!
I think Will has played it too safe for him to galvanize the Black community around him. We'll see how it pans out if they do try to cancel him.
I'm very happy for Will Smith because it would have been so bad for his good career to ruined by that one mistake. I saw his apologies to Chris Rock the other day and I'm happy that everything is getting better and normal for him.
