President Biden will request $37 billion in the annual budget to go towards supporting law enforcement and for crime prevention, the White House announced on Thursday.
The request will be part of Fiscal 2023 budget process and Biden is set to announce it in remarks on Thursday in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The trip will be focused on building on the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which was the bipartisan gun bill he signed into law last month.
Senior administration officials said the timing of the announcement is a way for the president to stress that the work is not done on gun violence.
“He wanted to seize the momentum. Seize the moment in order to drive further,” officials said.
Biden’s $37 billion request, which the White House has deemed as the Safer America Plan, would invest nearly $13 billion over five years to hire and train 100,000 additional police officers, invest $3 billion to clear court backlogs and solve murders and establish a $15 billion grant program aimed at justice system reform.
Officials said that Biden chose to travel to Wilkes-Barre, which is near his hometown of Scranton, Pa., because his remarks will be geared towards community safety.

“You shouldn’t have to be in your hometown and be living in fear of gun violence. So, the president wanted to go and be able to talk about how home should mean safety, and in order to get that done, we really need Congress to do more to reduce gun violence,” officials said.
Biden is also expected to tout that $10 billion in funding from the coronavirus relief bill that has been committed to public safety and violence prevention, which the White House announced in May.
At the time, Biden had called on mayors and local leaders to use funds from the American Rescue Plan, which he signed into law early last year, to bulk up police forces and safety programs ahead of the summer months.

Despite all that money and support that Biden is persistently giving to the racist police thugs with badges, he will never get the support, trust, and respect of the racist pro-cop, pro-gun Trump supporter crowd that hate his guts. Same with Copmala Harris. The casual racist moderate crowd isn't particularly moved by Biden either even with this really gross stunt. Nobody is enthusiastic for Joe Biden. Biden is really doing all of this to spite Black people despite Black people his most loyal voting bloc. Heck, he would still request for this BS plan to be approved even if every Black person in America cheered for Joe Biden and decided to give him the lowdown Monica Lewinsky special with Irish mashed potatoes on the side every single day of his career.
Well, let's just hope that money is used for hiring cops alone maybe not thrown away into some military expedition or maybe to get some more war worthy weapons to fight the Russians.

Uncle Phil Broke it down. Them extra police are not what you think they are in my opinion as this thing collapses. We are being scapegoated. This is in preparation for Operation Garden Plot or King Alfred's Plan (or read free here). Black people should be very concerned. This plan along with the war power bill moving through Congress should be watched very closely. Over the years with each Presidential administration, the powers that should not have grabbed power to strengthen this plan. They've also added Hispanics to it. The Dems need to beef up national protection for the power grab and next phase of the NWO.

The evil fuckers are planning on using the new police as small local and state militaries to maintain order during civil unrest when this nation falls. Don't be fooled. You should print these documents and put them in a safe place. The internet is making everything disappear. We are being scapegoated because everyone knows them crimes bills are specifically meant for us, but trust me, errrrrrbody gonna be surprised when they switch up on them and collect the clears and Latino gang too. They'll need order after the chaos they've created. That's how it's going to be done.
The cards are aligning and the sheeple are none the wiser. If you're in a big city where the majority of Black people are, I advise you to move or try to stay with country relatives if you can. They'll be rounding us up sooner than we think.

The police are military now unless it's the police in podunk. It's time we began viewing the police as a local arm of the military. They have the equipment and training. They also have the blessing of the people.
