Anyone here checked out this new show on FX & Hulu? It's about a guy who has to take over his brothers restaurant after he commits suicide. It stars the guy from Shameless, I can't recall his name. He's supposed to be some pro cook, and and when he comes back to the restaurant to take over, he tries to fix all the problems, but only continues to run into them.

I just finished season 1 the other day, and It's really good. It's odd though, it takes place in Chicago, the lead is a recovering alcoholic I believe, and he has anger issues, much like his character on Shameless. Shameless I believe took place in Chicago as well. Idk, a dumb point, but I thought it was interesting.

Check out the trailer below if you haven't checked it out yet:

Looks pretty good, and I liked that dude in Shameless. If this is anything like shameless as well, I may have to give it a try. Been hearing pretty good things about this show as of late too, so maybe it'll be the next show I binge.
I was going to say he looked familiar. I watched Shameless for the first 8 or so seasons. At one point I just lost interest cause the same crap kept happening. I might check this out.
Yeah I still haven't watched the last season. I felt the show went on way too long, it should have ended around season 8 or sooner. I started to lose track of the show around that season, as I missed 8 and then I think 9 came out. So I decided to wait until it ran its course to get back into it. I have yet to actually do that though. One of these days maybe.

I liked how they did the characters but at one point it just got boring and relative and the focus shifted too hard on crap that didn't interest me. I think they should have had an end-game in mind. Just another show that went too long and got ruined because of it.
