Honestly, I doubt that is true. Elon Musk likes to give you a timeframe and then never deliver on it. And this is a device that goes onto or into your brain. So, I am hesitant to believe it'll be ready in that time for testing, especially with Musk's spotty track record. And Elon saying him getting this implant doesn't comfort anyone's nerves either. I'm very doubtful it will work, but maybe I'm wrong. Either way, I don't think I'd want this type of thing in my brain.
As well, I heard they were testing on monkeys and heard some died as a result. But that was an article on the Daily Mail and I don't know how trustworthy that site is.
