Just when professionals thought their skills and talents made them immune from being replaced. It reminds me of the South Park episode with those "Goobacks." And Stan's dad, Randy, who proudly supported illegals and scolded Stanley for not supporting them, was forced to stop supporting them after one of the Goobacks eventually took his job.
As funny as the "they took our jobs" line is, it is unfortunately often used to mock "xenophobes." Some people (basically the whites that hate everyone non-white) are actual racists, xenophobes, sexists, and bigots who deserve to be mocked. However, we Black people are actually not like this.
We "let and let live" and have paved the way for others to succeed and yet people (including whites, legal immigrants, and illegals) continue to take our kindness for weakness and take us for granted at best.
We so-called "xenophobes" have very real concerns of job loss, promoting of illegality, drain in resources, putting non-citizens and illegals over US citizens, gentrification and displacement, more hostility and discrimination and racism from not just whites but also foreigners (both legal and illegal), and having our loss jobs and livelihoods outsourced and done by non-citizens.
For every white or non-Black US citizen who loses a job, about 5 Black US citizens will lose our jobs. When whites get the flu, Black people get severe pneumonia.
These treacherous corporations, government and businesses are fully responsible for betraying and harming the American US citizens (especially us Black American citizens) to line their pockets and maintain a system of injustice, inequality, illegality, inequity, anti-Black racism, and white supremacy.
Flooding the country with illegals and giving jobs away to foreigners and illegals because "no human being is illegal and everyone deserves a chance to succeed" is all fine and dandy (in theory) until they are flooding your neighborhood (see what happened with Martha's Vineyard) and taking your job.
