Police departments get all kinds of federal money. One of the things I would demand for our politicians to push for is a national database of these cops and ANY police department that hires them are excluded for any federal largesse. There are always money for SWAT, 'training', etc from the feds, deny any PD them for hiring these people. Also, in each state push for the same thing. If a PD hires someone like this they are denied state aid.
Finally, the specific person who hired them should be on the jumbotron. Make that person's life hell.
