This shortfall forced the Army to cut its planned active-duty end strength from 476,000 to 466,000. And the current fiscal year is likely to be even worse. "

Liberalism's Bedrock Assumptions
It is individualistic at its core. It assumes that the individual takes precedence over the social group.
It assumes that individuals cannot reach
universal agreement over first principles
Those differences are sometimes profound and can lead to violence.

Liberal Hegemony's Goals
It is basically an attempt remake the world in America's image. It has three components:
1. Spread liberal democracy across the planet.
2. Integrate more and more countries into the open international economy.
3. Integrate more and more countries into
international institutions.

This has not worked. We are in a downward economic spiral, caused by globalization. Our educational systems and culture are failing. The programing around the military after decades of perpetual warfair and great game politics have shown the military to be a looser of a life choice.

I think it's caused by a whole different problem. Before we lived in the dark and a lot of the horrible stuff that goes on in the military wasn't known. You had no way to research it. You couldn't really get information.
Now we live in an age where people who went in and experienced it first had can get on tiktok, youtube etc and speak out.
Young people hearing these horror stories aren't going to go in. Especially when they can just side hustle on grubhub, uber eats etc and make money like that while going to school.

Young people now have their eyes open.
