Movies and TV

The map shown in the movie is the reason why. It shows the nine-dash line which basically is in support of China's claim to the area. So to Vietnam, which claims to own this area it is a direct insult. This isn't the first movie they banned because of a map. The Philippines is also rumored to ban it. Crazy world.

There has been far worse shown in movies that you would think would warrant some sort of ban. Banning a Barbie movie just seems funny to me lol

I am going to go see it for laughs. It looks so corny, I just have to.

Yeah, China is a huge bully over there. These companies bow to China way too much and act like they don't know what's going on when someone calls them out for it. Essentially, it's like the movie agrees with China that those countries don't have any rule or ownership of the seas around their countries. If I was them, I would ban stuff like that too, lol.

China's government just feels like a manipulative step parent or something. They have a history of just phucking other nations and their own people. Not to mention their slave labor. The fact that Hollywood values that green more than people says it all though. We live in a greedy ass world.
