It’s copium at best. Europe had conquered us and it is what it is. He is trying to remix the story to what I assume is to find some pride in self but this ain’t it to me. There ain’t no place on this planet where Black people are totally independent and immune from Europe.
Black folks find various coping mechanisms to deal with reality:
* We are Moors and change our status
* the traditional black church, we'll be in a better place when dead
* Black Israelite, we are the original Hebrews
....and Blacks with all kinds of thoughts like this brother. He's a result of generational trauma. I won't even laugh. Not all of us deal with the trauma of systemic white supremacy the same. Some join the enemy. This guy created his own reality. Dissociative identity. Mix in some facts with your own version.
There are parts of a lot of this stuff that are or may be true but the main thing it does it gives people an excuse not to fight white supremacy head on. My guess is he's not a 'joiner'. Talk to him about not voting, reparations, etc, and he'll revert back to this stuff. It's all well and good but my guess is there won't be any substantive action.

Yeah, I had to listen several times.. He is speaking some truths.. but knowing what I know and I suspect most of you know, yes, our ancestors were absolutely enslaved and his ignorance shows because most of the slaves were very young men, boys almost and women.. They were skilled workers. The Europeans were not able to take a great amount of warriors, so our warrior ancestors did fight back and thwart many slave aka human trafficking operations. I wish he made himself more clear and site his sources… which I suspect are his well thought out theories. Additionally, the Slave traders used a lot of trickery and lying to traffic and kidnap. As time went on, the demand for skilled African workers aka slaves encouraged more violence in order to fill the plantation demand. The slave masters then figured out a way to grow their own batch of free workforce.. and that’s when the raping and buck breaking began, allowing them to breed their own workforce and dilute the African bloodline and DNA… but that’s a whole other talk show. Now, I could be wrong.. let me know 💌Please let me know what you think.. because we need to learn from each other. I need to learn.. I want to learn. So many lies have been passing as the truth and people are just taking it in as FACTS. I've tried talking to two younger cats in their 20's while they worked for me and it's all good when you got their attention but as soon as they get off the only thing, they are thinking about is burning one and girls. They asked me all types of questions and I even texted them links and I'm sure to this day they've never read or watched anything I sent them. One in jail still as far as I know, and the other social media post are mostly of silly things girls and weed trying to fake it until he makes it to wherever.
