Republicans believe violence may be necessary to “save” the US
They know the day that they are most afraid of is coming soon. The revolt was proof that it can and will go down but even that had a line that people wouldn’t cross. What happens when that line is crossed and all bets are off? That’s what they know is on the horizon and they want their government to exercise whatever violence is necessary to protect their slowly evaporating white privilege.
