From the sound of things, it should be one of the better ones. I only saw the first 3 I think. I know there was one that had Chris Rock in it. It was from a detective's point of view I think.
If you do, let me know how it was. I am curious but not curious enough to go see it. I will wait until it is released to streaming platforms.
So I ended up going to see this last night. A friend dragged me out. I just wanted to stay home and chill but she really wanted to see it and didn't want to go alone.
My thoughts: Of the ones I have seen, this is one of the best. I would say it is the best since the first movie. It has a lot of suspense and builds up tension well. I normally would not go out of my way to watch something like this anymore but I enjoyed it.

Does it stick to the original format? How far does it stray away? Without any spoilers, what twists should we look out for?
I will say that it is fairly close to the original story. As close at it can be with the later half of the movies kind of spilling it all over the place. Keep in mind, I did not see all of them.
It takes place after the first one. Has the best traps imo. The bulk of the story involves him (Jigsaw) being scammed. I will leave it at that. lol
Yeah, I wouldn't say it is one of the goriest but it does have a lot of gore. What you would come to expect from a Saw movie. I think most fans of the franchise will consider it a top 3 of the 10.
