Professor Griff was probably the first Brother I started listening to then discovered the Black Authority (Jason Black) listening to a Tommy Sotomayor show believe it or not (that was before discovering TS was a coon) also was listening to Tariq for comedic relief in his Mac Lesson days....
Professor Black Truth, Jason Black for his break downs, Tariq for the information he puts out there Vicki Dillard, Black Dot & Urban X Family of course and there's a host of others including Black Magic 363 Brother Rich ,Red & Blue Pill Black Alpha Network, Tauren Reign and more! Gotta Love New Black Media!!! ❤️🖤💚✊🏿💯

    My top 3:

    1. Taharka Bey - He is thorough with the research and allows people to challenge him. I don’t like that he’s always bumping heads with people but that’s part of his deal.
    2. The Black Authority - I like that he is no nonsense and games and brings the facts. I don’t like that his invitation to challenge his fake. If you call in and disagree he just calls you names and over talks you.
    3. Professor Black Truth - Straight down the middle no frills approach which I like. I don’t like his straight down the middle approach at times because I doze off at times.
Overall I’m looking to diversify what I listen to. I would like to see the New Black Media touch on different topics everything doesn’t have to be trauma porn without solutions. There’s only 3 or 4 different shows in the graphic and all the others are low rent versions of them.

I've been listening to this brother and I like his perspective. I don't know his full on ideology yet but it seems like a refined Pan-Africanism. He is aware that there are coons all around and wants to unite with all the Black people who are looking to destroy the current order. People may not like him because he challenges the community but it is what it is.

I can deal with folks like him. At least he is trying to be realistic about the world and not closed minded.

That’s what I like about him too. He ain’t with the jive talk or giving you sleeping pills. He is speaking the fact that excellence is the bare minimum for us to be competitive as a Black race. I can get with that b

I tried to give Taharka Bey a chance, but I cannot do so. Every time I try to follow him, I get frustrated and leave him alone. I like the other 2 you mentioned.

He's an acquired taste. I like how he exposed Grandmaster Jay and the NFAC. Grandmaster Jay was strange and I like that he wasn't afraid to go into the details. I believe that if you're honest and genuine you should survive scrutiny. It's why I can tolerate Taharka Bey because if you're moving in the right direction he won't be able to find nothing on you.

Same, he does long livestreams without saying much of anything except to repeat the same talking points that everyone he disagrees with is an agent. I also can’t jive with his divisiveness, he attacks everyone in the reparations movement even Lord Abba back in the day. Seems like an agent to me, I can’t take him serious.

LJ isn't as thorough as I presumed, but the man is a walking hip hop encyclopedia. He's mad funny too.

URB TV is interesting. I catch myself skimming through his Boule docuseries.
He be over talking Rah Digga too much it’s annoying. I haven’t watched in years so I don’t know how it is now but he disrespected her too much in my eyes.

    Fam,

Who are the oldest New Black Media personalities you started listening to and what platform? I'm describing it as:

The New Black Media is a culture of independent journalists, commentators, and broadcasters who leverage the democratized nature of the internet to profess an unapologetic Black grassroots viewpoint of politics, current events, and history to the masses.

Answer through that lens please and not through the lens of beef like the original picture did.

Great choices!!! I listened to STV also before all the beefs started coming up in the conscious community.....I never get the beefs if we're all moving in the same direction or perceived goals.....

Same, the arguing is why I stopped watching Saneter.
