When I was a young boy, the entire neighborhood cared for each and everyone of us. We did not limit our care to just the occupants within our house and that is now gone.

I believe the community saying thumbs down to the dress is valid. It was tacky and tasteless and showed her contempt for their union.

I legit don't disagree with this. And you're right, the single and/or unmarried ALWAYS have so much shit to say about what and/or how married couples get down. It's like a broke nigga who's never had mad bread, trying to tell you how to spend your money. It's an emotional outburst of selective outrage (pun intended) now that the Chris Rock vs. Will Smith drama isn't interesting anymore.

I grew up in the same kind of community but you want to know what the community also understood? They knew WHEN to stick their nose in other people's business and when to MIND their own. The issue in the community today is there's no DISCERNMENT on that matter. People don't know WHAT issues they should be injecting themselves into or not, anymore. So instead, they are either injecting themselves into EVERYTHING or they err on the side of caution and don't inject themselves at all.

Completely agree. Certain behaviors have adverse effects on the community as a whole. Years later, the same people who said nothing, or always said "who are we to judge, mind your own business" will be wondering "what happened to us?". Cycle repeats, degeneracy increases.

I'm a little annoyed about how their dynamic is between them because I wouldn't have even wifeyed her with her history unless she genuinely changed and I'd have to be sprung, that being said, its their own business.
