If you listen to Tariq and most FBA’s, on code Black immigrants are never a problem, and are not called tethers. At least, I’ve never heard that before; it seems pretty clear to me. When did that change, if it did and receipts please.

The n-word is never appropriate but tether is, because they exist. Not all non-FBA are tethers, but they do exist and they’re destructive. That said, calling all non-FBA/Freesman/ADOS/Black Americans, etc. tethers is hostile and insulting.

Hyper masculine cultures sometimes have that problem. Not all of them, but as you mentioned, it’s a problem in the Carribean.
