    The King changes his tune

Definitely, and white people do it all the time. I agree 1000%

    The King changes his tune

I don’t take his position seriously and while I do feel that it’s okay to think and view things differently I disliked how he responded to the Kyrie Irving situation. I understand that athletes need to be tactical if they want to maintain their dollars and image is everything but at the same...

Any new year resolutions you want to keep?

I set yearly or long term goals. Things I want to have done before the next year ends. It’s never anything like “lose weight” or “have x amount of dollars” but things that might take time. Like get my credit to 700 or enroll in such and such program.

Dr Edwin Nichols "Philosophical Aspects of Culture"

He gets deeper that was just a warm up. Watch when he breaks down Asian thought. The first time I came across him it blew my mind because we know a lot of this but I had never heard anyone put it into words the way he did.

Does Neal Degrasse Tyson Have A Point, Or Is He Full Of Crap?

They do that all too often. For example my brother teaches at a mostly white school and since he’s one of the few Black people they send him to give his “perspective” on black issues but when it comes to other issues his name is rarely mentioned. It’s like saying you’re only qualified to tall...

Dr Edwin Nichols "Philosophical Aspects of Culture"

Dr. Edwin Nichols is one of my favorite elders and his work has literally changed my life and how I see things especially how I see my own people as well as my enemy. Sun Tzu says "Know yourself as you know your enemy and you will not lose...". When I first came across this I was a bit skeptical...

Middle Ground: Africans Vs Black Americans

I saw a few clips of this but I can say I have had similar conversations with Africans I know personally. We do need to have a dialogue like this on a larger scale to get “our house” in order. There is too much collective ignorance and we forget that our brothers and sisters receive a different...

    Black Excellence Myth

I think that in the past we would make sacrifices because we had to in order to survive and I don’t think we would have moved before desegregation. When I consider that my family even had businesses where we always had a place to have a job and I think of movies in which the plot revolves around...

    Black Excellence Myth

I think that is largely due to a lack of knowledge about our own accomplishments and the focus of our greatness being shifted to the physical traits. I don’t think any group, including ourselves believe in our intellectual capacity because as you pointed out our enemy has spent 500+ years to...

Black computer scientists have degrees from top universities, but don't get hired in tech

I made a similar point about Black businesses relative to how white businesses are finding ways to cut costs by using fewer employees. If we play our cards right 10-20 years we can control the workforce because they would have to come to us.

    Stop Publicizing Black Division

Definitely, I don’t agree with everything they say but that’s okay. I agree with them as it pertains to bettering our community and that’s what counts

    Stop Publicizing Black Division

Thanks Neither do I. I like how John Henrik Clarke and Chiekh Anta Diop handled their disagreements and there were disagreements from other scholars as far as Chiekhs work on the Moors but they did it in a classy and informative way. I even think of Wayne B Chandler and Dana Reynolds debate so...

Black computer scientists have degrees from top universities, but don't get hired in tech

The issue with freelancing is that it’s inconsistent and you need consistent sources of income to live comfortably. That’s why we need to create jobs and create tech products so that we can make sure we get hired.

Black computer scientists have degrees from top universities, but don't get hired in tech

We will if we make it that way. There are white groups that intentionally go in to sabotage us and IT is already well known for "Gate Keeping". I do however see a rise in interest and visibility and there are more of us in it than people think but part of the disparity is opportunity. Only one...

Black computer scientists have degrees from top universities, but don't get hired in tech

I got by with creating a portfolio of what I could do and was lucky enough to have references to play the game and really sell myself to employers. I seen how people with degrees have messed up because they know how to play the college game but to your point certifications are everything and it...

    Black Excellence Myth

So YouTube always recommends videos that I would never search for regularly and I will admit (Full Disclaimer) that I disagree with the majority of what this brother has to say. With that being said I feel he makes some points that are valid from his perspective and although again, I don't...
