We can condemn it if we want to, but we literally don't have to. In fact, we only empower it more when we do.One example is I didn't even know about that movie/scene until I saw someone condemn it on Twitter. "Resistance makes stronger." We think we have to resist these images when we don't. If we did not resist it, it would have fell into obscurity without a bump. WE, our resistance IS their marketing. And so incentivizing them to do it again.Again, I'm not condemning anyone or saying how you react is wrong. Really, there is no other way people can react than way they are reacting if they are not conscience of a way that may be preferable to them so I'm really just provoking thought, throwing a less painful idea into the mix.
