I've been thinking about opening a chess.com account since I can't find anyone to play chess with anymore in real life. Anybody else got an account on there? I miss playing. Spent most of my 20's sitting around playing chess and listening to Jazz. I don't have that kind of free time anymore, but I think I do need to exercise my brain more. Plus, been listening to a lot of Wu-Tang Clan and you they always talking about playing some chess and smoking L's. I can't afford both habits, but playing a lil chess here and there won't hurt my lungs any.

I’m a huge chess player although I haven’t taken to online chess quite yet. I cut my teeth playing in the park against the old heads. Now I’m the old head but I play at the cigar lounge and at friend’s house now. I play on this board:

Thank you. It took some time to get used to the different pieces but I like it better now.

I like a game called Carcassonne that’s my favorite strategy game. I want to learn chess though since it is everywhere.

i play blitz almost everyday on down time. whatever little i have these days. on chess.com
i grew up playing blitz in washington square ny. but since moving away, online was the only way i could get my fix. people arent as talented as the bums in the park.

I played when I was younger. Have since forgotten how to play. I do still know how to play checkers though and got a wood set. Not many people my age play it though lol
