I traveled to Dubai and Thailand after working overseas as a contractor in Afghanistan for a couple of years. I basically stayed in Thailand for 3 months to avoid paying taxes on my income i earned in Afghanistan and to live cheap. I visited Dubai 2 or 3 times. It was cool but hot as hell.
Two options off the top of my head. Central and South America by bus mainly, train when you can. By ship (Cruise) to the Caribbean and you can get to the South American continent by ship as well. Europe and Asia are out unless you can find some way by ship.
That's how I went :) , ...actually took a bus cross country to Mexico, then through SA on a separate trip. Not sure I would do that now, but it was a cool experience then
In west Africa I saw the twin of a half dozen people from back home. I could have sworn I saw 'Man Man' from the corner, my cousin Earl and JeMaris, who stole my 9th grade girlfriend.
LMAO, I keep hearing everyone say the people in West Africa are family. I want to visit so bad, but they just passed an international passport treaty. I'm hoping the continent declines that bs.
I've visited the Bahamas (Exuma and Nassau), and Barbados. I was going to Italy and Rome when the pandemic hit so that got canceled. I want to visit the African continent and I would love to go to the Maldives if I hit the lottery. Bimini, Australia, and other places where Black folks. I try not to spend my time or money visiting places with pilgrims. I leave here to escape them. Not trying to go where they are.
I love traveling to the states. I've been to most of the U.S. for work. My preference is rural settings and outdoors where I can fish and hunt. I haven't been to the Midwest because of the lack of Blacks but I would love to go there, to Washington, Oregon, OK, and maybe Nova Scotia. Traveling is traveling to me. I always go to learn something new. Get your passport now before the new vax passport is required.
(The Center Square) โ President Joe Biden signed a G20 Bali Leadersโ Declaration agreeing to adopt vaccine passports to โfacilitateโ all international travel.
I've been to about 40 cities for work years ago. I traveled as part of my job. I also traveled to about 25 or 30 states in college via sports for my school.
One thing I realized ..the hood .is the hood...is the hood. You can get bodied in Little Rock az easy as Los Angeles if you are stupid..
I want to visit South Carolina next summer to see my family. I havenโt been in a very long time. There are family members I have never met. There are other states I have to visit, but South Carolina has a special place in my heart. I will also make stops in North since I have family from there. I plan to of course visit relatives, see grave sites, and just have major fun. I already know which hotel to stay at in SC. ๐๐๐
