[Real One]

Kids these days aren't as religious as they used to be. I like to think I'm religious, but I don't take religion as seriously as I used to either. I still will pray depending on how things are going, and I will still go to church when I have some family up. But other than that I don't really follow my religion to a t. But, how do you feel about your own children not following a religion? Would you be okay if your child didn't believe in a god?

I think I'd be okay with it, but I know a lot of my family would be disappointed. What are your thoughts?

I'm far, far more concerned about children following a moral and ethical code that they are willing to suffer for it the same way people with religion are.

I will raise my children the same way I was raised. I will bring them up in their younger years with a Christian moral foundation and when they get old enough to start questioning things, I will let it happen. That is the one mistake people seem to make with their kids. They don't let them question God and it ends up making them hate the entire concept of religion/spirituality and rebel.
