Berner is enjoying huge success nationally with his Cookies brand. To have a weed shop in lower Manhattan is a huge move. Berner is highly respected in the cannabis industry mainly because of strains like Gelato & Girl Scout Cookies. He also has a huge following as a rapper where other rappers like Styles P & Wiz Khalifa have been co-signing his ability to grow great weed at a high quality.
The flipside of this is that Berner had a huge advantage over other rappers because he's been growing for decades. He started in Arizona & then went out to California. He did it the right way as far as business.
He leveraged Black culture (Hip-Hop) to fund his pet project & it has paid off. We can't catch a break in this industry but Berner seems to have the secret sauce.

Berner and CookiesSF representatives opened their latest store, this one in the heart of Manhattan's Herald Square shopping district, on October 30. The store currently stocks clothing and CBD/hemp products, but none with THC.
