I was there during this whole demonization of these 5 men that were set up by the police,the city & the media. Spearheaded by a Karen & Rudy Giuliani among others. I will admit at first I believed the media because I was 13 years old at the time but after hearing some of their statements I reversed my position. It was later found,after white cops buried the evidence, that a white Latino actually killed the jogger. Her family never apologized to the young men,neither did Giuliani and the NYPD. The New Post & The NY Daily News were the rags putting out propaganda about these young men & the idea of wilding.
