A question for 6ers to ponder.

I went to get a shape up. I didnt go to my usual barber, I went to one that was slightly out of the way but still quite local. The barber shaped up my halfro nicely! Although it cost more than my usual barber, I'm thinking should I make this new spot my regular go to for a shape up.

What are you thoughts? Does everyone stay loyal to their regular barbers, or go to others? Do you stay with one barber for a set amount of time and then change? How long has everyone been with their barbers?

I like to stick to my barber because of consistency and relationship. But if you getting better cuts somewhere else and you prefer them make your move.

I want whoever the best barber is. Price is a non factor in my opinion. Some are better than others.

You should go to the one who you think did the better job out of the two.

Seems like you liked the new barber's style more to the point you posted about it. If it was marginally better there wouldn't be a conversation.

It also seems that you have a fairly strong relationship with your present barber. What you may want to do is go to both maybe. Alternate.

My current barber is alright. I was just very impressed with the shape up done by the new barber.

Thats part of the reason. Also its good to get a different look and change up once in a while. Was interested if anybody else does the same.

Yep. He should take before and after pictures from each barber and be as honest about who created the better improvement.

Some of my friends do something similar, where they go to 3 or 4 different barbers and have them on rotation.

I love this idea. It prevents a person from having to suddenly trust a new person with their head. It would already be a regular thing.

I changed my 8yo son's Barber and he ended up with a ringworm on his neck... 😭💩 .... I can't..... He also messed up his Tape Up? line up/edge up ... Never again I'm sticking to the chair I know 😆💜

I go to a hairdresser but I view it the same. Once I have a relationship, I only want one person touching my hair. I go to the same place I been going to since I was 15 and still have the same woman doing my hair.

Sorry that your son had to experience that. After that happening, I don't blame you for staying with one barber.
