62 year old Weng Sor decided to commit suicide in a rented U-Haul but instead of going over the GWB or Brooklyn Bridge, he uses his truck to mow down 8 people for no reason. He claims he is homeless & wanted to end his life. He was taken in unharmed.
This is why screening of all immigrants & their mental health should be codified into immigration laws. Is it really suicide though? Remember,two other elderly Asian men have committed mass murder attacks in California just weeks ago. Elderly people in Asian society have been known through out history for sacrificing themselves for the betterment of their people. I could be reaching but all cards are on the table for the growing number of Asian males committing mass injury scenarios.

New York U-Haul truck strikes 8 people, driver arrested

Police in New York City have arrested a U-Haul truck driver accused of deliberately plowing into pedestrians on Monday, injuring at least eight people before officers chased him down and stopped the vehicle, authorities said.

With the cultural and differing spiritual beliefs it’s hard to know what’s going on in some immigrants minds, especially when they nut out.
In some cultures, suicide always means taking out others (like the whole family) with them for some reason. I’m thinking Middle Eastern at the moment.
