Friends have done this to me many times. I would go to a local party and think we were all invited, and my friends would say things about how they didn't even know the people hosting the party haha.
I believe it. I lived in an area with a lot of white people, so when my friends and I crashed parties, it was often white people parties. We'd be the only black dudes at the party sometimes. People knew us though, so when we crashed parties they were pretty chill about it for the most part. There was one time where we crashed a party ran by a group of jocks. They weren't too happy about us crashing.
That is kind of the true definition of crashing right there. Just showing up and not knowing one person. lol I can't say I know anyone who has ever done that. Has to be an interesting thing. I can bet people at these parties are thinking "who knows these people?" lol
Oh for sure. We would often get looks, but when they hung out with us, we all became buds soon after. There was only one time where we peaced out early, because some dude was trying to literally set the place on fire. It wasn't because we were there, just some dude decided to set a house on fire while we were there. It was crazy, dude was tackled down to the ground by some dude on the football team. Knocked him right out.
