He is a master at performative wokeness. Like you said he’ll pretend to be counter culture but it’s always within the acceptable confines of criticism by white society. The liberal whites say he can be their attack bulldog against the conservative white people but he will never indict the entire system. He will never say they are two sides of the same coin. He is a puppet in the truest definition of the word.
