I played sports growing up, but I wasn't ever good enough to play in the pros. Partly because I didn't think I would go into it, and besides that I did put the effort into it like others did. If I could have played a pro sport, I think basketball would have been great. But, football is a second, though I fear the injuries there would render me a mess when I grow old. So maybe not.

Anyway, I never had the chance to play in the pros, but has anyone here had the chance? Maybe you did? If so, what was the experience like? How long did you play for?

I'm curious to know if we got any stars among us as users. That'd be pretty cool.

I think I could have possibly made a decent career in track post college if I had the motivation. They are getting paid like a mo fo these days with the shoe contracts and endorsements. Usain Bolt at one time made like 69 million. Not saying its the norm but you can be a millionaire in it before you even hit 20 these days if you are good enough.

On a sidenote, pretty much every brotha knows some local playground legend who might have been good enough for the NBA if he applied himself.
