Disney’s absurdly expensive Star Wars hotel is shutting down

It’s the end of the road for the Galactic Starcruiser.

Who would have thought that a $6000 2 night hotel stay themed around a trilogy that no likes would stick around. Disney is killing Star Wars slowly but surely. Two spent and it is over in little over a year.

I watched videos on it and it didn't look all that cool especially for the price. The rooms were cramped, the mini-games were weak looking, and you couldn't even stay a whole 48 hours.

Disney is going to have a hard time proving value in this market. The Starcruiser was the first sign that the days of ever escalating prices are over. Disney has learned just how much consumers value their product and it was not to the time of $6000 for two days when their cruise product presents and infinitely better value.
