Hmm...I guess I'm a spontaneous planner, too.I like to think I'm a spontaneous planner lol I like to plan and have a set outline for whatever I'm doing but I can adapt if I need to. I used to plan too much but I've learned it's better for me to do whatever planning I can and then not stress about it.
Interesting response. I know many folks would consider spontaneous folks fun.Spontaneous all day over here. I don’t plan shit and it’s giving me the highest highs and the lowest lows. Now im my 40’s im trying to find a balance, I’ve had to start over a couple times do to not planning shit and just running with the vibes.
This is the exact same way I am. I have a schedule. When I have free time during a certain time window, then I will be "spontaneous", but it will be within the budget I set for a certain category.I'm a planner and pretty rigid, I look at everything in blocks of time and I fill in those blocks of times with to-do's, activities, and etc. I can only be spontaneous within the confines of those blocks e.g. Friday 6-7PM I can be spontaneous. I was actually talking about this last night...I call it Planned Spontaneity.
It’s a great way to live IMO and may annoy the purely spontaneous people in your life but in the end it makes it easier to get things accomplished. Spontaneity can very rarely interfere with work because the spontaneity is confined to a predefined window. This is the exact same way I am. I have a schedule. My husband & I are both. Mostly planning, but our together times are spontaneous.I am the spontaneous one and Nini is the planner and it has worked out for us.
