Former UCLA basketball player Jalen Hill dead after going missing in Costa Rica, family says

The college basketball player stepped away citing the need to treat mental health issues he was experiencing

Jalen Hill, who previously played for UCLA basketball, died after he went missing in Costa Rica. He was only 22 years old. He recently took a break from basketball to focus on his mental health. He stated the reason for leaving was due to the increasing anxiety and depression from having to perform at a high level in college ball.

There is no mention on how he died though.

This is so sad. Depression is very bad especially if it's on a critical stage. Since they said he went missing after he was later found dead, if bad guys didn't get him, then he must have committed suicide because of his depression. May his soul rest in peace.
