Hello Blackgravity. How does the DNA test work? I don’t trust it, so I only go by family records. I started my family tree in 2020 and put it down. Cancelled my membership and picked it back up the end of 2021. I became more invested in finding information when my great grandma died two months ago. I just use basic information to fill in my family tree and work on up. A lot of my elders are deceased too, so I can’t get any valuable information from them. Usually info is passed down in my family. Now that it’s coming back to me, I have a cousin who knows a lot. I have to contact him this week to find out anything I can use. So far I’ve been using the materials my grandmother gave me. It has helped me build my tree. I have only reached 4th generation (1800s).
